Karavan or Venture?

Whats the better trailer here, im totally unsure.<br /><br />The Karavan:<br />

<br /><br />The Venture:<br />

<br /><br /><br />I will say that the differences are as follows:<br /><br />Width between fenders- The venture is 6" wider. Weight cap- Venture is 1100 Karavan is 1000. Same tires. <br /><br />Let me know your thoughts, is a 6" diff in width a big deal? Thanks and whats the better quality? Thank you!!<br /><br />-John

I like the venture better only because it has the boat centering things on the rear. Is there a price difference?

The Venture appears to have torison axles which I believe are better than leaf springs. I believe Venture uses spindle lube axles which are good, I don't know about the Karavan. The design of the frame on the Venture looks like it would be stronger. I own a much larger Venture trailer.

I owned a Karavan trailer and hated it from day one. Sold it and bought a Shorelander roller trailer. Much better quality, bigger tires, easier to load/unload and towed better.

Ayuh,....... No Experince At All......<br /><br />But,... The Venture Looks like a Better Built Wagon,.. Better Dressed Too.......<br /><br />Wider,+/or Longer is Always Better...........

that is pretty funny Smoker, didnt even realize it till you mentioned it!<br /><br /><br />I got the venture its sitting in the driveway, not too bad of a unit, not perfect, the karavan actually had a much nicer galvanized finish, the venture isnt bad though. Pretty happy for $550.
