Went after seatrout again this afternoon. Been out a few times this spring and got nothing. This time turned out different!

That a very different “sea trout” than I’m used too. Looks more like a lake trout

We have two species we call “sea trout”. Both are actually from the Drum family. Locally known as Grey and Speckled trout among other names

It's a sea run Brown Trout. Spawn in rivers in the fall and go to sea in the summer to feed. Similar to a salmon.
