Just wanted to go for a spin

Wife thought she would take the boat out for a spin this evening when she got home. She does have more boating experience then me, but not much experience with our new lift. Woops!



Thankfully the motor stayed above water! She was able to use the lift itself to keep the boat from sinking any further.

yeah shes ok. We did have a good laugh. Once the water was in the boat she wasn't strong enough to get it back up the lift.

rgballard, did you accept the fact that this was somehow your fault? I know my wife could have came up with a minumum of 50 reasons why something like that would have been my fault. LOL

Im glad the little lady is ok, all I can say is "**** happens". Hope you guys can figure out what went wrong and find a way to fix it (is there is anything to fix).

I want your outboard, looks like a nice older one for sure. Was it damaged as a result of the accident?
I have a pair of 57's I'm getting cleaned up and ready to reload as twins on a small runabout.
