I have a 2003 mercury 200XL EFI model OT631779 and it was running perfectly and I went to use it yesterday and as I was at 1200 rpm going down the canal it just stopped running like someone turn off the kill switch but it was never touched. I was low on oil and I filled it back up but it won’t start now. Also when I turn the key on I use to get the alarm check for a few seconds now I don’t even get that anymore but if I leave the key on it will alarm for about 30 seconds stop for 3 seconds and alarm again for 30 seconds and just keep repeating that until I turn the key off. When the alarm does go off I can hear the fuel pump come on and then off when the alarm does.

sounds like an electrical "start/run circuit" gremlin.. gonna need some 'lectrics testin'................ key sw, both boat and motor harness.... jmo
