Just need some advice from the veterans

I am finally gonna remove the engine out of my bayliner in the morning! An was wonderig if you guys had any tips on how to start an what to do first? It's a Volvo penta 225 e ! I'm doing a restore on the boat an have to get to that area!

My engine had lifting eyes already installed. It was fairly easy to do once I figured out how to lift the engine high enough. I used a tree.

disconnect the fuel line, disconnect the electrical, throttle cable, power steering (if you've got it), unbolt the clamping ring behind the upper gear box that secures the flywheel cover to the transom shield, pull the lag bolts from the motor mounts so that the motor will slide forward, making removal easier.

Having done it in the past, I could have my engine out in 30 min.
