I have a 1996 Sylvan V196 with at 4.3LX Gen+ and I was wondering what you ran as far as spark plugs. I have heard that champion 401 (RS12YC) is perfect for replacements because supposedly american engine run "better" on american spark plugs, but then I hear that NGK (BPR6EFS) are supreme to champion and make them "better than better!", if there is such a thing!

I run: Mercury Quicksilver AC SPRK PLUG. I think your takes part number: 33-816336Q.

AC plugs only in Chevy motor for me !!

AC plugs only. NGK's in boat engines crack externally on the ceramic. I will try to post a pic to show you.

You can fill in the blank: plugs, fuel, fuel additives, oil etc.
Follow the factory maintenance manual, and save your money.
Champion plugs are the least desirable.
