Spent last week in Texas. Houston to be exact. And although I have been told that Houston isn't exactly the pearl of the state, I found the people to be really friendly and easy to work with. The state wasn't what I expected, whatever that was.
I worked and made presentations to over 100 people this week and every last one of them were open and charming. I worked primarily in the plastics market while down there, and most often with engineers and plant supervisors, but I was genuinely impressed. I was entertained in the Galeria section of town, and stayed by the new stadium. Heck, even the traffic moved quite well. What a medical industry you folks have down there! One of my customers has a hunter 34 and I have been invited for a sail next time down. (about 2 months from now) I can't wait.
My impressions of a state that has quite a history was wonderful...
