just got a sei upper and trying to install please help

I just got my SEI out drive alpha 1 gen 1 and I was trying to put it on last night so I could go start the break in today. I was switching over my shift foot and noticed I need the bushing in the hole so it is not so loose. I found the stainless steel bushing part number and the tool to put it in. It doesn't matter that it is a merc one and using a sei outdrive correct? Also do I have to have the installer to put it in or can I use a punch or different size sockets to try to put it in? I tried to pull mine out and could not set it to move.

I was just looking on SEI website and they have a complete install kit that comes with a new shift foot and gaskets, in the picture it doesn't show the bushing so I am really confused know.

They dont supply one and it`s not needed. Install the foot normally and slide the units together

Okay thanks It looks like I will be heading out to the garage shortly to put it all together. I may even get to head to the lake today and start break in.
