When did Iboats officially hit the Web? Also was wondering how many members were on board at the end of each year? <br /><br />Now I know Iboats can give us the answer but lets see here if someone here can tell us..<br /><br />One Rule..Iboat staff and MODS have to take a back seat on this one.. That includes Iboats recent newbie JESS..

I was thinking it was Dec of 2000 when they got started. Probably wrong as usual. Then for members I think the first year was a bit under the 10,000 mark, then about 10K members a year since. I think the 2003 to 2004 is when we picked up the most members in a year.<br /><br />Good post Jeff. (Good morning to ya)

Did ya know that they own over 1000 watersports-related domain names but I think they only use about 100 of them, so still plenty of room to grow.

Don't know about that SS, sometime in '99 I would guess, but not sure, maybe not till 2000.

Dec 6, 2000 is when Mod 1 was registered. That is why I was thinking that is when the forums were born. Not sure if this is correct, but I think it is a good guess.

David, Member Number 0, was registered "A Long Time Ago". <br /><br />Bruno3, member number 1, was registered June 30, 1999, along with some other single-digit members.<br /><br />IBoats copyright is 1999.<br /><br />It looks like the www.iboats.com domain name was first registered October 30, 1998 by Steven Wolfe of Vassel Enterprises, LLC.

Naw..Have to do Business taxes and needed a break..I am no good on this searching thing so thought i would some of you professionals help me out..<br /><br />How about how many members were here say in 01 then again at the end of 02..How long did it take you BB to figure this out? I figure mid summer if I was doing the search..

I just did a query on member list by member number from the directory sortcut above. Then I did a whois on the domain name.

5655 members at the end of 2001.<br />18301 at the end of 2002.
