Just bought 5hp nissan havent run it yet, what year is it

I purchased the motor sight unseen $400 wasnt the 4stroke i was hoping for but looks like brand new under the cover. Cleaned it up with car wash on the outside and looks great as well. The fuel cans smelled varnishy like its not been run for long time. I sprayed power tune and fogging oil in cyl let it sit over night plus the butterfly. Where is the air cleaner located? Any information on this motor is appreciated.

There is no air cleaner. Contact Nissan at 972-323-6003 for year information.

Fricker started on second left hand pull lol i used old sierra oil and fresh 91 octane. Seems there is alot of oil in the water bucket i did go overboard spraying storage fog in there. Could old sierra oil not burn correctly and making the black oil soot. I really like the new motor it was a long shaft model i wanted but not the 4stroke id plan on buying. If i wanted to sell her what could i get? Are the japanese made worth more

It look to be in pristine condition so somewhere between $750 and $850. The oil shouldn't make any difference...If it was sealed.
