This past Sunday I tried my 15' Jet on the big lake with my family, and brought a tube along for my first try at tubing behind my own boat. Everything went along smoothly (perhaps not smoothly, a bit jarring hitting waves in a 15' tin boat) when I went tubing for the last time before heading in... forgot that I was still wearing my $120 Oakley sunglasses... realized it as I was hitting the water.... now davey jones has a awesome pair of shades! :facepalm: Minor SHT, but still annoying!

Sorry to hear Chief. Expensive ones disappear too quickly, the cheap ones, you never loose them.

That does seem to happen doesn't it? Had a BLAST tubing though!!! The 40 hp worked fine, but the engines mounted a bit high for the bigger waves on Huron... scrounging for a pair of bolts for the AC

I did the same thing last summer! I had my $10 mirrored aviators for almost 2 years. Literally traveled around the world with me. Loved them. Decided to be cool and where them on my friends boat on the lake. Literally mid-air jumping out of the boat for a middle-of-the-lake swim/float... oh S$%t my glasses are still on... couldn't get my hands up in time. Fail. Thought about diving.
