Johnson won't start!

I have a problem with my motor.<br />My motor starts perfectly when it is cold, but when i lay down for half a hour or one hour it first run but then shut down. then starting have no sence because it won't start. after 15 min. it starts but after 1 min. shut down again.<br />Also full power is not good. till 3500 - 4000 good but full-power its begin to vibrating and i'am must schut down the power.<br />The motor runs normaly great.<br />My mechanic also can't find the problem, but says it is a electric problem, not a fuel problem.<br />Who can help.<br />(dispide of my bad englisch!)<br />Haye from Holland<br />Motor: Johnson ocean runner 175 hp<br />Jear: 1996<br />Model: J175EXEDB

When the motor will not start, check for spark at the spark plugs. It should jump 9-10 millimeter gap. Also make sure the gas tank is vented and not building vacuum.

My engineer put a new powerbox in the motor, and now it runs fine.<br />Thanks for the reply's<br />I think when the powerbox get hot a contact was "broken". you can't repair it, so you have put a new one on it.
