anybody knows if is there a difference in a black plug from the motor to red plug from the boat side, are the wire colors the same ??

There is a difference. Wires/purposes are not the same.

Red plug on motor requires red plug on controls.----Yellow plug on motor requires yellow plug on controls.-----Black round plug on motor requires black round plug on controls.

so the wire color code is not the same and they dont serve the same purpose for example the black yellow , or the purple/white,,

Exactly. As one example, the red plug does not have wires for electric shift. Yellow plug is for electric shift and Mag CD ignition, a combination only used on a couple of models.

well this is an old 93 and looking at the diagram in my manual the wires seem to serve the same, i guess ill just make it work somehow
