I have the reference engine and reading the troubles of some of participants, i have reached the conclusion that must be clean the carburetor, because sometimes the engine intermitent loose power to 1/3 and after recover the powder to full trottle. This is most frecuently when I stop during a period of time (1 hour or less), and try to get the full trottle again.

My question is that i have read my clymer manual and don't feel safe to adjust the linkage after cleaning the carburetor and i haven't the necessary tools for it.

Is possible to clean the carburetor without the complicates adjusts of it?

Are there alternative procedures to clean the carb basically.

Your response will be very appreciate.

I must also check the electrical system, but I am almost safe that the problem is dirt in the carburetor, since the gasoline tank cracked and the filter was very dirty.
