Does anyone know if Johnson made a trim and tilt assembly for their 1991 40 and 50 hp. Tiller motors? Seems all I can find is for 60 hp. and up. I have a CMC unit now but would like to install factory unit. Thank you for your time.

Yes you can get factory ptt for this motor. The used market for these units is pretty hot since the manual tilt assist system for this vintage was problematic. Expect to pay around $500 for a used one. Finding one may be a challenge. I just went through this same exercise for a '89 remote model. Availability on the used unit was an issue.
Personally I'd keep the CMC unit if I already had it.
