Johnson to Suzuki controls question

I have a 1988 Johnson 140. I am looking at getting a 2002 Suzuki 140 4 stroke, but it doesn't include controls. I know it's a shot in the dark, but are my Johnson controls usable with the Suzuki?

If not, about how much am I looking at if I buy controls seperately?

They won't work. Both the cables and wiring will be different.

i just tried to see if a suzi remote would work on a johnson,it will not throttle control s backward, it would take a lot of work just to try to get it to work
