Need to replace seal in center tilt cylinder on 200 HP 1990 Johnson. How in the heck do you drive the tilt cylinder pin out? I believe I have reached a neutral position so shaft is not loaded but the pin will not budge. I would hate to pull motor from the boat.

There is no need to pull the motor, however, that pin can cause a heck of a lot of grief. You will need a good penetrating oil, a punch and a heavy hammer. Lube it up with the oil, let it sit, hammer away, lube again, let it sit , hammer away. May need to repeat this process a few times. Others have had luck with a torch to heat up the body, causing it to expand, allowing the pin to come out easier. Also make sure the end of the pin is not mushroomed, file the end down that you plan on driving through.
