Johnson seahorse trolling motor electric 12/24v

can anyone fill me in on this motor? its a johnson seahorse with no numbers at all except us pats. not even on the foot pedal. i want to put it on the bow (where it goes) but i dont want to remove bow nav lights. also am unable to find any info on this.

Make sure it works well, I have heard parts are hard to come by.... Need to mount at an angle to clear bow light but will probably need to remove the bow rail. Just an opinion from your pics..

if i was to take the wood off , do you think i would still have to take the bow rail off? think its feasable to put it on or should i just sell it?

it works. but i dont know if i want to install it as of yet. but if i do this is how its going to go.... i might just leave it off and sell for 200. again not sure yet. need input ......

How long will it last after you go thru the trouble of mounting it ??? It looks like an old one...

considering the oldness of it, it will last a while. im sure. there are many of these to be had for parts or resurected and working. there is a guy in my area that redone this one. so i know that he can fix em for sure. i have fixed minn kotas. but never one of these ones. should be the same principal. i did look on the web and there is quit the few online in ebay and other sites.
