Trying to get our Pontoon running and the 94 -28HP Johnson Outboard has power but no Spark, is there a kill switch that I am missing or could it be something else? Please help.<br /><br />------------------<br />therese
Hi, Thereset. The most common cause for this problem is a bad "ignition" switch grounding the magneto when it is supposed to be ON. Other possibilities are in the magneto itself. <br /><br />The first thing I would try is disconnect the ignition wire from your ON-OFF-START switch and try her out. CAUTION!! If that is your trouble and the engine fires up, you will not be able to turn her off with the switch. Be prepared to choke her to kill her.<br /><br />Good Luck.<br />JB
