Johnson Pressure Tank ?

I found an old 1957 ( I think ) 7.5hp Johnson that uses a pressure tank.... it is hard to convert this to a regular setup with a fule pump? Pressure tanks on ebay go for more than the thing is worth.... if you cant use a pump is there any way to rig up a regular tank to work? <br /><br />Thanks

It can be converted to use a fuel pump by a wrench that really knows what he is doing, but I wouldn't advise an inexperienced person to try it.

use the search and pressure tank, you should find plenty of info on it.

I would just find a pressure tank. There are always several on eBay and rebuild kits and hose are readily available for them. Most marinas probably have a few kicking around the back-forty, too. <br />- Scott
