just bought the boat. has power tilt trim and new motor. guy said he rebuilt both cylinders last year or something. the one works fine. the other seems to stop compressing somewhere around the area of the brass plug in back of the cylinder. i also dont know if its moving when i adjust the trim. any common problems/solutions for this situation? i havent yet taken it apart but im sure ill see the problem shortly thereafter. the trick is to have the new parts onhand before i have it all apart on my bench. any wisdom?
