I need to get a manual for my 1992 Johnson V4 90hp. I found at least 3 different manuals, one by OMC, one by Seloc, and one by Clymer. Is any one of these better than the others?

Thanks for the advice.

Re: Johnson Outboard Service Manual

JZ, I recently bought a Clymer manual because thats what my dealer carries. I bought it to rebuild a 1990 40hp Johnson. It has a lot of info, probably all you'll need, but I wish I could have found an OMC manual instead. The Clymer covers so many years and so many diff models in one manual, and some of the info was very general, not specific like I was told an OMC manual would be.

Thanks, I might go with the OMC manual, as it is also $5 cheaper. I just hope it has info on the remote control unit also.

Check out www.theoutboardwizard.com His name is Ralph. Stay with the original OMC Service Manual. Less generac. Ralph will tell you if it includes controls. My bet it doesn't. Ask him. I believe he will also copy pages. ;)
