Johnson Outboard pee holes

Pardon my ignorance, but I am new to boat ownership. Have a 1999 Johnson 115HP outboard - lake we live on is weedy. Engine intake became clogged and hot lite came on. After clearing out as much of weeds as we could, water comes out of one pee hole on the motor. Question - I see that there are two pee holes on the motor, but water only comes out of one of them (right or drivers side). Should water be coming out of both holes? If so, how do I clear out the second hole? Talked with marina - they said that water only comes out of one hole, but we have friends with outboard motor who says that water comes out of both holes.

Just one! You can remove the cover and see the small rubber hose that leads to it and the back of the exhaust plate.<br /><br />Bob
