johnson ooutboard ?

a guy in my bass club gave me a 5 hp johnson outboard with a serial #573633 and model #TD20 what year is it

would i need to get a kill switch for the outboard to fish club bass tournaments

Nahhhh, just push the lever all the way to the left. There actually is an internal kill switch built in the magplate that grounds out the mags at the far left position.
