johnson oceanrunner 250 exact model id

Hello,

I am pretty sure my motor is a 1994 johnson (from a reg. card) but I can not find the model number/serial number anywhere. Only number I can find is the number in the top of the motor block, see picture.

Can anyone help me find out what exactly is the type/model of my engine?

Oooohhhh.....big V8 huh?

Odds are that it is a J250TXERC.
Maybe some of the dealer types on here can take the serial number you found and match it to the model number that I think it is.

hopefully some dealer can do a such a number match to be sure.

Call BRP customer service with that # and they can tell you what it is. 1-262-884-5993

Called the BRP customer service and gave them the number. A helpsom man checked and he confirmed it was a J250TXER.

the model # is on the bracket that bolts to the transom, NOT on the block.......its the swivel bracket
