Re: Johnson Motor

Thanks, That's a good site. My motor must be a newer motor as I could not find it.

Your motor is a 1986.OMC(Johnson & Evirude) have been, since 1980 using this method for model year ID "INTRODUCES" I=1 N=2 T=3 R=4 O=5 D=6 U=7 C=8 E=9 S=0 The last digit is a model ID letter "A" "B" "C" "D" "E" all refer to a change made within the model year.

Re: Johnson Motor

Thank you. I bought a book on Johnson motors from 1971-89 but no where in it does it mention an ID method or even a 28HP motor. Do you know anything about that?<br />
