Johnson JW-10 recoil issue

I have a JW-10 and am reassembling the recoils assembly and I’m struggling to get the pawls to swing out. I understand there is a certain position that the spring in the pawl assembly needs to be in in order for the them to swing out but need a little help on the reassembly. Any help is appreciated!
