I have an 88 gt150.The lower unit is off right now and i was wondering if its possible to hook a hose to the water pipe and run it so i can fog the carbs? Thanks for any help.

Very good idea.

So will it work?Not sure if you can run it without the lower unit connected.First outboard i have owned and dont want to mess anything up.

Yes it will work, just keep it at idle
