johnson/evinrude mid '80's control box

Thing is the ignition switch is gone,only the wiring conections behind it is left,all wires are still conected to this back-ring i call it. when i connect cable pluss and minus on batteri,the starter cranks right away,have to remove minus cable and then it ofcourse stops.

colors is: two black,one red,one purple with white stripe,one black with yellow stripe and one white.

im asking, if i remove all wires from this ring,wich one should touch eachother so i can start it "normally" with cables constant connected to battery?

....new ignition switch is bought,but i cant wait two weeks to really fire it up

if you read this you should be able to sort it out

You need to touch power to the starter one.
ground the kill switch to kill it
connect the ground.
becareful as you dont want lose live wires while running

its just to complicate,il wait for the new ignition switch to arrive first.

if the new switch is a sierra brand I would strongly suggest double checking the markings on the new switch as to where each wire will go.
