How do I go about identifying my motor I checked the title of the boat but it didn’t have anything and I can’t seem to find any data plates in the motor or on the hood it’s on a 1977 rally cruiser I’m pretty sure it’s factory but I’m not 100% sure
Normally there is a tag on the transom bracket with the model and serial number on it. Sometimes these get painted over. If you cant find it there check under the hood. There should be an expansion plug on the engine with the model number on it.
