I need help to rebuild my gearcase I hit a underwater object, and the unit will not go into gear..... I also smell gearcase oil...

Hi Sirius3K,<br /> You'd probably be better off taking that one to a shop - later style OMC units are a pain to work on unless you have the right tools and jigs to set up the gear lash tolerances. Decent used lower units turn up on eBay all the time for $100-$300, but it can be a crap shoot.<br />- Scott
