When I am starting to start my motor, it seems like the exhaust is building up a lot of pressure. If it fires soon enough, the pressure if released or if I let it sit for 5-10 minutes the pressure if released. My problem is, that when it doesn't fire, it builds up to much pressure for my starter to turn it over. ???????? I just had my starter rebuilt and replaced all battery connections. Has anyone ever heard of this or know whats causing it?

Are you sure it's not flooding somehow? Filling the cylinders with fuel?
