I have a 1979 Johnson 60 that starts ok, but has a couple of problems.
1. It takes a looong time to get warmed up and it tends to stall when shifted into gear. That is a real problem for the skier and it's been a problem for years.
2. Lately, the engine dies or will run only very slowly after it has been running for a while. It has happened also when the boat was turned sharply. I believe the carburators are clean and there's no water in them or the tank. Carbs have been rebuilt twice and jets are clean. Hose from tank to engine is new.
Any suggestions sure would be appreciated.
