Johnson 50ESL72C Fuel Pump

Good morning everyone, my '72 50hp started surging last night at higher rpm exhibiting signs of a failing fuel pump. I've looked around, but there seems to be no rebuild kit affiliated with my model available. Am I losing it??

I am sure there is a rebuild kit that will work for that pump.-------Have you taken this pump apart to see if there is actually something wrong ?---Just guessing ?-----Many good working pumps are thrown out I believe.

I've had this motor for 10 years, and have no idea on its history before that. I'm thinking a new kit, lines and just a plain old servicing is in order at this point anyway.
