has an issue not taking throttle. Cranks fine. Put it into gear and idle around fine. Give it throttle to plane and it just doesn't want to go. This is an ongoing issue. Just purchased the boat today and going to try to sort it out. Previous owner had pistons replaced (.020 overbore) in 06 with new rod bolts and wrist pin bearings. Done by Johnson dealer. Took it back and they replaced power pack. Took it back again and they replaced replaced cam pick up roller. I have all service write ups of work dealer performed. Problem is still there. I got a pretty decent buy knowing about this issue. Owner got frustrated and wanted rid of it. A 16 ft Hydra Sports in super clean and solid condition. Seems to me a dealer could have fixed this issue. I will put in water tommorrow and take along some carb cleaner to see if that helps but can really use any suggestions from the heavy hitters. Hope my "good buy" doesn't bite me in the butt..
