My motor is leaking hydraulic fluid and the tilt is barely lifting the motor. I do not have a manual for this motor. Anyone know how to add more fluid until I can get this repaired. Or anyone know how to repair this or should I take it to the shop?

The most likely leak sources are the fill-plug gasket or O-ring, or the ram seal. Paint or scale can eat those up. Tilt the motor fully up and engage the tilt lock (you might have to open the manual relief valve and tilt it manually). The fill plug should be rather obvious. It'll either be a plug like on your gearcase, or a plastic cap. Fill that until the fluid leaks back out of the fill hole, then cap it. I usually give it an extra squirt before plugging, but you have to be quick. Have some rags handy and a drain pan under it cuz it's kinda messy.

What type of fluid is to be added?
