Johnson 225 trim stop pin

The stop pin is set at the lowest setting and the bow still rides kind of high. It looks like the engine could go down more without the pin. Is this possible to do with any problems? Or am I better off installing trim tabs.

I'd go with the trim tabs. Or shift some weight to the front of the boat.

One holes isn't going to make a difference.

A combination of a stern lifting prop and trim tabs increased handling noticeably

take a video whilst the boat is running and focus on the engine's anti-cavitation plate, let's see if that is right first.
