Just thought I would ask I know this is a long shot, I was fishing a tour this morning and at take off I got on plane and ran around one half mile.
The motor just stoped running there was no noise or nothing the motor started right up and ran well before take off. I just had the ignition system replaced four months ago.
Do you guys think power pack again it sounds like it's not getting fire ????

Thanks for any reply

Re: Johnson 200Hp venom

Check the emergency kill switch; the clips get weak and don't hold tight enough then the switch closes and the ignition can't fire. There are other things that can close the kill circuit (black wire with yellow stripe) like a failing ignition switch or a short in the harness.

Good. Those clips are cheap enough; I keep a couple of extras around the boat.
