THANKS FRANK,BUT MY PROBLEM IS NOT THE PRICE OF THE OIL BUT OVER HERE THE DEALERS ARE LOOKING AT ME LIKE I AM AN ALIEN ASKING FOR OLD THINGS LIKE OMC TYPE C FOR A 1972!!!!! ENGINE<br />Offshoreboat

Hi OffShoreBoat..<br /><br />First thing, I'd be making a habit of clicking "post reply" instead of "post new topic" or you are apt to annoy alot of the experts on the list..<br /><br />As for your oil issue.. Its pretty important to use typeC as I detailed earlier,, if you must, order it online..<br /><br />All the OMC dealers in this area have it on their shelves, so there must still be a few around using it.. and if your dealers don't have it, I'll bet they can get it if they order it.<br /><br />The simple answer is, if you are gonna keep your outboard for any length of time, then use TypeC..<br /><br />regards<br /><br />Frank
