I need some opinios out there and wonder if anyone would mind giving me a good guess on a price that is reasonable to pay for an 18 horse johnson manufactured in 1960, in good condition. I have no idea what it is worth. thanks for replies.

$75.00 or so if it runs good and it is in good shape. Just my thoughts. :)

Hi Desperado,
If you can get it for $75.00, then go for it, but if it's been recently gone through with new ignition, carb and cooling parts, then the seller will likely have at least $100 in parts alone into it. In my area (and every area's different) I can usually get at least $300 for a 1960s Johnrude 18 in good shape, with a tank, with new points, coils, condensers, hoses, waterpump impeller, lower unit seals, etc...
- Scott
