Johnson 175xp keep the oil injection or not

i just purchased a replacement motor for my boat should i premix or keep the injection? and how do i remove it. thanks

You might post the year or model number of the motor. The motors from about 1996 on, have very good Oil injection systems. The earlier ones were not as reliable. I also recommend you test the overheating alarm, and thermostat and water pump for proper operation.

Look at the wires from your pump. Is it a 4 wire pump?
