When the engine is cold (has been sitting overnight), it takes about 5-6 pulls to get it started when using the starting procedure from the manual. Once it is warm, it will start on the 1st pull.

The engine is a 1993, which I purchased last year. Runs great otherwise. I have not done any work to the carb. I did run some seafoam through the engine, and replaced spark plugs with recommended Champion plugs.

My lawnmower starts on the on the first pull every time. Why does this damn boat moter have to be so finicky?
