Johnson 150 Fast Strike Power Trim Question

I have a question.

Where does the power trim connect at for the controls on the motor? My wiring didn't come with a plug so I have to run separate wiring for it and I have no clue where the plug or connections on the motor is for it. A picture would be very helpful so I can see what I am looking for. Thank you for any help

Look on the powerhead for a small black rectangular plastic box. That would be the PTT relay junction box. There should be a wire leading from it with a plug in type connector containing two wires... one green, one blue. That's where the electric motor should connect...... color coded, green to green... blue to blue.

no I am not replacing it. I bought the motor 2nd hand to replace one that went out on me. Wiring harnesses were different and the one for the Johnson didn't have the plug for the power trim so I have to run wires for it

I am not around the motors for the model numbers. I am at work, old motor was a 97 Evinrude 70hp and the Johnson is a 97 150hp Fast Strike V6. All I can say for now but if needs be I can get the model numbers and post them tomorrow

Those used the same wiring harness I think.----Same colours for sure.-----Just a matter of finding the plug on the motor.

That is the correct plug.------Red is 12 volts+-----Green is for GRASS ( down ).---Blue ( sky ) is for up.----Other wires for trim gauge.

ok thanks. Im gonna try to work on it on my days off and get it working. I haven't had a chance yet in a few weeks
