Johnson 15 hp j15rcta wont keep running

last year it was fine, this year it will not run fast speed,it will idle all day long, but speed it up and blaaaaa, it is like its running out of gas and will die, then choke it and it will restart, new pump ball, new fitting to motor from fuel line, I took apart what appears to be a fuel pump diaphram assy it is clean, gas to the diaphram, what is something or somethings to check, should I put new diaphrams in the fuel pump diaphram or could it be that the carb is sticky, im lost

had same problem on evin 150 rebuilt fuel pumps checked and rebuilt carbs .
checked to make sure all fittings were leak free .
try pumping primer ball when prob occurs.if it changes it will be pump
im not a boat mech but have been repairing mine for a while .

dirty high speeds jets in the carb. starving for fuel.
