The engine was just serviced (hadn?t been run in 3-4 years) cleaned/rebuilt carbs replaced impeller, and new plugs. Watched the guy start and run the motor in the tank and it seemed just fine. This is my kicker for the river fishing on the Detroit River; I use it to keep vertical jigging going down the river, so I use it at idle speed mostly, slipping into and out of neutral, the motor isn?t keeping an idle at low speed, it will die if I don?t give it a burst with the choke, then it revs and stumbles back to stall, unless I choke it again. It just won?t run well or at all, at idle speed. The throttle is extremely sensitive in that, by turning the handle ? inch it seems like its wide open. Could this be caused by a possible air leak in the fuel delivery system? I have replaced one of the connectors off the fuel tank (have the same one at the engine too, but haven?t replace that one yet). They look fine and the hose looks good too but I can?t tell 100%.
