I have another question of my engine.<br /><br />I should change starter drive gear of my engine, because the teeth are practically wornout.<br /><br />I'm looking for this piece and I thing that the correct reference is DV372 from ARCO.<br /><br />I haven't found a clear instructions in my clymer manual about and I would like to obtain help of somebody that had changed that piece or knows if is easy or dificult to change it.<br /><br />Thanks for your replies

2 ways...either remove the starter or atleast loosen off the bolts so you can clear the flywheel.<br /><br />The other way is to pull the flywheel.<br /><br />The first one being the most practical for the DIY<br /><br />If you look under the bendix there should be a place to put a wrench. This will hold the bendix from turning. Next take a wrench and take the top nut off. Once removed take the retainer and spring off and the bendix. Replace the bendix and reinstall in the reverse order.<br /><br />TMD
