I think you are going to have to remove them...but that isn't very hard.

You just need a big flat screwdriver to remove the float bowl drain plug, then a small flat screwdriver to remove the high speed jet.

Good luck.

hello. it is possible to gert the drain screws out on most but next to impossible to get the lower main jets out. dont try a screw driver buy the jet driver. most screw drivers tear up the jet. I made my own jet driver but the one from omc works well. If all you wish to do is clear light debris use a can of carb spray with a long thin tube and some canned compressed air like for blowing off your keyboard. if it is anythhing more I would recommend removing the carbs for cleaning. remember all the pistons move but if one jet is partially clogged that piston get short on lube. and then it burns
carb kits are much cheaper then pistons :)
good luck

You should be able to remove and clean the main jet without removing the carbuators, but what about the trash floating around inside the float bowl, that may be to large to flow thru the drain hole.

Thank you very much to all.

I will try to use a product to clean the carburetor and if it continues failing I will take it to the mechanic, since I don't feel sure to disassemble the carburetor and to fit it later. I'm looking at my clymer manual and there are some linkages after assamble the carburetor, very difficult for me.

Anyway thanks to all again

Fernando
