sure you can,, it'll even work.. for a while..<br /><br />eventually you will probably have to replace the the wires to your soleniods though..<br /><br />There are two soleniods in the top of your gearcase, they are practically immersed in the oil,, so if you don't use the type C oil, your insulation will get hard, and then crack. <br /><br />(I know this for a fact as mine had that very problem, when I got it I had to change the wires leading down to the soleniod.. one was so bad most of the insulation had fallen off and it was arcing to earth..<br /><br />Stick with the proper stuff...<br /><br />regards<br /><br />Frank
