Looking for a place to buy "Joe's Flies". Had several given to me sometime ago and no one seems to know where to buy. They are tiny spinner bait much link Mepp's spinners but much smaller. They are good for most any smaal fish, trout, bream, small mouth etc.

Re: Joe's Flies

I did a quick search & found this.
They say these are cheaper in price, but the blades are not gold plated, therefore.....cheaper.
On the other hand. I also found this:
Joe's Flies, LLC
303 Buckhannon Pike
Nutter Fort, West Virginia 26301
Phone: 304-623-3921
That'd be a worth a call. I used a reverse number lookup & verified it's still an active phone number.
I have no association with either of these companies or know anything about them :p
I like the idea behind them though. I may try one or two.
I'd recommend a small beetle type spinner called a fish-n-spin. 1/32oz tube style, black head/chartreuse tail. I caught around 40-50 crappie this Tuesday with it. It's all I've used all year. I regularly catch bluegill/crappie/ the occasional bass. Again. Click here.
The owner is a very nice guy. In fact the black & green came to me free from him on his recommendation (I bought 4 other colors though)

Let us know how it works out if you find the flys.
Like I said, I may order a couple. :p

Re: Joe's Flies

Found Joe's Flies at a Wally World in NE Alabama close to a lake on the Tennessee River. Only Wally World that I've been in that had them. Will look into the fish-n-spins and give them a try.
