Most of the jigs I use alot have half to two thirds of the paint beat off them, but I keep using them. How important do you experts think it is to have a fully painted jig head, do you think it diminishes the effectiveness of the lure when they get beat up?

Re: Jig Paint

Makes absolutly "NO" difference at all, (EXCEPT)!!

If you think in your head that it does, it will.

I think that jigs with eyes work slightly better than ones without them in reasonably clear water.

Rattles are a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
